Oceanstar leaped up on the willow branch and called out "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather around for a clan meeting!" He yowled waiting for Toadpaw to join.

Oceanstar nodded, Toadpaw padded out of the appretices den and sat down next to Ripplepaw. He looked up at Oceanstar, he began "Toadpaw please step up" he began.

Toadpaw stepped up proudly, Oceanstar continued "I, Oceanstar, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. Toadpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect the clan, even at the cost of your life?
Toadpaw nodded "I do"

Toadclaw looked happily at Ripplepaw and headed towards the entrance where he would keep watch for the night.
